After much anticipation, Brent Faiyaz is back with his third album, Icon. The 10-track project is executive produced by Raphael Saadiq and features contributions from producers like Chad Hugo, Benny Blanco, Dpat, Jordan Ware, Dilip, Tommy Richman, and Faiyaz himself. The lead single, “Have To” recently reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart and topped Mediabase’s R&B Radio chart last week. The album had originally been scheduled for September 19, 2025, but Faiyaz canceled it at the last minute, scrapping another lead single and video. Mixing was handled by Itai Schwartz, and mastering by Mike Dean, giving the album a polished, professional sound.
