The Romantic is the fourth album by Bruno Mars. It marks his first solo release in ten years, following 2016’s 24K Magic. The project also arrives after his 2021 collaborative album An Evening with Silk Sonic, created alongside Anderson .Paak as the duo Silk Sonic. Work on the album reportedly began as early as 2023, with Mars collaborating once again with longtime creative partners Brody Brown, Philip Lawrence, and James Fauntleroy.
