Goat Of All Goats is one of the most ambitious solo projects from DJ Paul in recent years, celebrating his legacy in Memphis Hip Hop while still sounding raw and contemporary. Across more than twenty tracks, the album blends classic Memphis horrorcore vibes with modern trap drums and heavy bass. The project includes an impressive list of guest appearances such as Freddie Gibbs, Too $hort, Snow Tha Product, and the late Lord Infamous, adding both nostalgia and lyrical diversity. Other collaborations with artists like Yelawolf, Young Buck, Riff Raff, and Akon give the record a wide stylistic range. Production is largely handled by DJ Paul himself, maintaining the dark, hypnotic sound that helped define the Three 6 Mafia era. Tracks like “Find Out” and “Throw Some Money” stand out thanks to their gritty beats and charismatic guest verses. Songs featuring Seed of 6ix reinforce the album’s connection to the original Memphis rap lineage. At times the album feels long, but its raw energy and unapologetic Southern style keep it engaging throughout. Overall, Goat of All Goats feels like a victory lap for DJ Paul, proving that his influence on trap and Southern hip-hop is still very much alive.
