Back in March, R&B singer, 6LACK has announced his fourth album, Love Is The New Gangsta, via LVRN/Interscope Records. Moving beyond the melancholic, late-night R&B structures that initially defined his career, this record masterfully embraces radical honesty, fatherhood, and emotional accountability. The atmospheric and soul-stirring soundscape is curated by executive producer Childish Major, alongside brilliant co-production from Trey Lander, Jesse Warren Tyler, and Justin Cho. Sonically, the album thrives on a balanced mix of raw minimalism and lush guitar loops that give 6LACK’s smooth vocal storytelling plenty of room to breathe. The tracklist is further elevated by a stellar lineup of guest features, including Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Leon Thomas, and AZ Chike.
